Connecting with Buyers

Builders can cater to potential buyers’ by creating outdoor living spaces conducive to outdoor cooking such as adding patios and decks with covers to keep grillers dry during rainstorms and snowstorms. To attract buyers, builders can include built-in natural gas grills or stand-alone grills. They will surely impress and become the centerpiece for outdoor living.

Also, for a very low cost, install natural gas piping and quick connects that will make hooking up natural gas grills a cinch for homebuyers. They show potential purchasers that the home was built with their lifestyles in mind. Quick connects allow homeowners to easily attach and detach the grill, getting the freedom to move it to make more room on the deck or patio if needed. They also make it easy to add other outdoor natural gas equipment such as patio heaters and campfires. For grilling well into the evening, natural gas lights are another great addition which can easily be installed on the gas line connecting the grill. The added touch brings light and festivity to the backyard, year ’round.

So many options

According to the 16th Annual Weber GrillWatch™ Survey, people have moved far beyond standard picnic fare to grilling turkeys, gourmet meals, seafood, ethnic foods and more. According to the study, 14 percent have even grilled their breakfasts! Trends have inspired the marketplace to develop grills that meet consumers changing needs. Grillers can now add versatility with accessories like rotisserie spits, side burners, smoker attachments and cast iron cooking grids. Consumers can choose from a wide range of sizes and styles. When planning for outdoor areas, builders should consider the larger sizes of the newer grills and build spaces that can accommodate them.

Grillers also have choices in fuel types. Homeowners who want the best choose natural gas. For convenience, natural gas grills have significant advantages over charcoal and propane grills. If you provide natural gas grills or quick connects, be sure buyers know the added value natural gas brings. With natural gas, homeowners don’t have to haul heavy tanks or worry about running out of propane or re-filling in the middle of cooking dinner. This is especially important with the newer, larger grills which require more fuel.

Cooking on a natural gas grill also takes little prep time, as they are always ready for cooking and don’t require the long warm-up times of charcoal grills. Plus, clean-up is easy, especially compared to the messy clean-up charcoal models require. Read more about Charcoal versus Gas in our article The Myth About Charcoal.

Precision cooking for excellent results

Natural gas grills also offer the most precise cooking and reliability. Grillers don’t need to worry about over-cooking or under-cooking because of a too-hot or too-cool flame. They’ll get the best in temperature control and performance, with consistent heat and a continual flow of fuel. Whether cooking burgers or the Thanksgiving turkey, everyday chefs will be pleased with their flavorful creations.
